We had the pleasure of using our Crane Services for DLM Carpentry Contractors this past week lifting trusses. The weather was nice and enabled us to assist in getting a new home framed in a timely manner. D&R Crane Service, LLC arrived early and waited on the sidelines while the framers worked steadily framing and we began to set up to be ready. Positioning of a crane truck is important on a job in order to be able to lift the trusses from the delivery area and place them where they need to go on the house.

As we start lifting the trusses, everyone is skilled on the job and knows exactly what to do. The framers for DLM Carpentry were not rookies either when it came to working with a crane service and time to set the trusses. They assisted in guiding the trusses to the correct positioning and getting them nailed in a timely manner in order to speed up the process.

As you can see in the picture to the left, trusses are so big and heavy, that it would be impossible for them to be lifted by men alone even with ropes and pulleys. Today’s technology enables trusses to be factory made and delivered to the job to speed up construction.
